Alex M. Winsor

I am a neuroethologist and 7th-year PhD candidate at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. My research is driven by a lifelong fascination with the diverse ways animals use their senses to perceive and engage with their environments. I currently use spiders, which divide their vision across specialized sets of eyes, to investigate the evolution of their visual systems and behavior.
